Tucked away in Reynir, Guesthouse Reynir turned out to be a delightful find after a rather eventful day battling icy roads. The warm and welcoming vibe instantly lifted my spirits, courtesy of a lovely hostess who not only offered me a better rate but also made sure I had everything I needed. The shared kitchen and dining area are great for mingling, and I loved the chance to whip up a quick meal after a busy day of exploring the stunning black sand beaches nearby. The location is unbeatable, with incredible views of the mountains and a mere five-minute drive to the coast. Just imagine sipping coffee while soaking in the gorgeous surroundings or catching a glimpse of the northern lights. On top of all that, the modern facilities ensure a clean and comfy stay, perfect for a single traveler like me or those heading out with friends. Definitely a spot I'd come back to after a marathon run in the area!
